K-Pop idols are known to always start new fashion trends, especially those that are highly influential and popular in the industry. In 2022, there is one fashion item that is widely seen among K-Pop idols for promotions and other events, which is the furry hat.
Although it's not something new, this trend still looks fresh when worn by K-Pop idols. Who are they? Let's take a look!
The K-Pop idol who started this trend in 2022 is WJSN Chocome when promoting 'Super Yuppers!' in January.
In addition to WJSN Chocome, Jiwon fromis_9 also wore a furry hat during the 'DM' era in January this year.
A few months later, Han from Stray Kids wore a soft furry hat to promote the group's new album, 'MANIAC', in March.
This trend was quiet for a few months until Wonyoung IVE revived it during the 'After LIKE' era in August.
Since then, furry hats have become very popular among K-Pop fans. In September, Taeyong of NCT and Jennie of BLACKPINK took this trend to a higher level.
