South Korean actress Uhm Ji Won is currently recovering after undergoing surgery due to a broken left ankle. The injury occurred when she fell while in Tokyo, Japan.
Although it initially worried fans, her condition has been reported as stable and not classified as a serious injury. She is now focused on rehabilitation while coordinating with the production team of the drama she is starring in.

According to the agency Uhm Ji Won, ABM Company, the accident occurred on February 14 while Uhm was in Tokyo. She suffered a fracture in her left ankle due to an unexpected fall.
After the incident, Uhm Ji Won immediately returned to South Korea for further medical treatment. This quick decision was made so that the recovery process could begin as soon as possible.
Upon arriving in Korea, Uhm Ji Won underwent surgery at a local hospital. The procedure was performed just before the Lunar New Year holiday.
The surgery went smoothly and there were no reports of serious complications. The agency stated that the injury is not classified as severe. Currently, Uhm is in stable condition and focusing on recovery.
Uhm Ji Won is undergoing treatment and rehabilitation therapy to expedite the healing process. This stage is important for her to return to normal activities.
The agency also mentioned that they are coordinating with the drama production team regarding the shooting schedule.
Currently, Uhm Ji Won is starring in the original TVING series titled Proxy SAT. This drama features a crime thriller genre with a quite tense premise. In “Proxy SAT,” Uhm Ji Won plays a key role that influences the storyline. Her character becomes one of the centers of conflict in the drama.
