Lovelyz is a girl group that debuted in 2014 under Woollim Entertainment. They are the first girl group to debut under Woollim Entertainment.
Lovelyz held their final comeback by releasing their seventh mini album titled UNFORGETTABLE in 2020.
Woollim Entertainment also announced that Lovelyz's contract expired on November 16, 2021. Meaning they no longer have activities together as a group.
After it was announced that Lovelyz no longer have activities together after the contract ends, the members wrote a letter of encouragement and beautiful words to the fans so that they won't be sad anymore and continue to support them.
7 out of 8 members of Lovelyz did not renew their contract with Woollim Entertainment. Only Baby Soul renewed her contract with Woollim Entertainment.
After 7 years together, Lovelyz has finally decided to disband. 7 years is not a short time for them to live as a girl group.
Yoo Ji Ae, Seo Ji Soo, Lee Mi Joo, Kei, JIN, Ryu Soo Jung, Jeong Ye In have decided not to renew their contracts because they want to start a new beginning.
Although they will no longer be a group, fans hope that they can still maintain a good friendship.
