14 Years Together, Naga Decides to Leave Lyla Band Because They Are No Longer on the Same Frequency as Other Members

Kapanlagi.com - A long journey has been taken by Indra Perdana Sinaga aka Naga with the band Lyla. Naga has been with the band that has made his name in the Indonesian entertainment world for almost 14 years.

However, like any journey, there must be an end. And the path chosen by Naga this time is quite surprising. He decided to leave the Lyla band on Thursday, (23/1) night.

The decision was announced by Naga through his personal Instagram account, @ipesinaga. He included a lengthy reason for his decision that shocked the fans of this band.

1. First Meeting

Naga begins this announcement with memories of the first time he met the members of the band Lyla. He admits to falling in love during their first jamming session.

"I still remember clearly the first jamming session with my friends from LYLA (at that time, Fare, Amec, and Dharma were still using their band name 'SIGN', Dennis hadn't joined yet) in one of the music studios in Kelapa Gading in the early third of 2006. From the very first jamming session, I felt an incredible energy, like falling in love at first sight hehehe. Eventually, Fare offered me the position of vocalist, and I accepted without hesitation," writes Naga.

2. Producing 5 Albums

Throughout their journey with Lyla, Indra and his friends have produced 5 albums. Recently, they released the single 'Janji' to the public.

"And every journey starts with its own storylines, and now LYLA has 5 albums in 13, almost 14 years of working together, and one sweet single 'JANJI' that is still quite popular to listen to," he continues.

3. Not One Frequency

However, behind this latest single, Naga feels that there is something different. He revealed that there is no longer the same chemistry in making music between him and his friends in Lyla.

"It is clearly not easy for me to make an unusual decision, but making music in a band is closely related to the same frequency among its members. I thought I could handle everything, but apparently not. In terms of friendship and brotherhood, LYLA will always be a part of me, but in terms of making music together, through this writing I convey that I have decided to resign from this band. Thank you, mas Dennis, Fare, Dharma, Difin, Amec, to my friends, LYLA Community, everyone who played a role in my and LYLA's journey, those who came and went, coloring the story. Thank you.., I resign," he wrote.
