After a 6-year hiatus, Lobow finally reappears with his latest single titled Belum Siap Kehilanganmu. The new song has been released since February 7, 2020.

1. Revealing the Reason for the Hiatus

When met in Cinere, Depok, West Java, recently Lobow admitted that in 2014 he chose to take a break from the music industry. He reasoned that the competition made him have to give in to the circumstances.

"I chose to take a break since 2014 because I was confused facing the Indonesian music market, after that my friend also offered to make an English song titled You Are and I tried it with the existing conditions, but it didn't work out," said Lobow.

2. Being a Music Arranger for Animated Series

Furthermore, Lobow revealed that during his hiatus, he chose to work as a music arranger for the animated series ADIT SOPO JARWO.

"During that time (hiatus) from 2014 to 2016, I worked on the animated film ADIT SOPO JARWO, I spent two years there for music. After that, I decided to return to creating music," said the 42-year-old man.

3. Returning in 2020

After pursuing his new job for over two years, Lobow returned to making music in 2017. However, due to various obstacles he encountered, it was only in 2020 that he emerged with his latest work.

"Actually, this song is the fourth song, but from the beginning, there were many obstacles in deciding to return to making music, so this year everything is finally ready," he added.

"Because I feel that the most comfortable job for me is to work as a musician. I also see many comments on Instagram and Youtube asking when I will appear again with a new song, I am also surprised to see their positive response because my two songs, Kau Cantik Hari Ini and Salah, are still really liked until now," he concluded.
