After a long hiatus from the Indonesian music industry, KOBE Band makes a comeback with the single 'Tangguh'

Kapanlagi.com - The band KOBE Band's name is surely familiar to the 90s generation. The band, known for their hit single 'Positive Thinking', has been on hiatus from the Indonesian music industry for many years.

And now, good news has come for KOBE fans. This band from Sidoarjo, East Java, has decided to make a comeback by introducing a new single titled 'Tangguh', which is released on all digital streaming platforms.

This time, KOBE Band is under the newly established label Logis Music, founded by Log Zhelebour. The band, founded in 2000, still presents their signature rock music style as always.

1. Traditional Javanese Music Elements

In the single Tangguh, the band led by Idham (drums), Dayat (bass), Helmi (guitar), and Cheko (vocals) also incorporate traditional Javanese music elements through gamelan instruments. Some parts of the lyrics are also written in Javanese language, containing encouraging and positive messages.

The music video for Tangguh itself is made with a traditional concept, featuring the legendary figure Gatotkaca. Several Javanese dancers also enhance the traditional atmosphere in the song.
