Appear in the Red and White Cultural Parade, BAGINDAS Band Releases Nationalism-Themed Song 'Jayalah Selamanya', Inspiring the Spirit of Love for the Homeland

Kapanlagi.com - The BAGINDAS band released their latest song titled Jayalah Selamanya which carries a theme of nationalism. BAGINDAS performed this song as a guest star at the peak of the Red and White Cultural Parade event held at Banteng Square, Jakarta, on Sunday (27/8/2023).

The song Jayalah Selamanya has a meaning of love for the Indonesian homeland. The song was created by senior musician Pay and sung featuring Ipang Lazuardi.

BAGINDAS intentionally released a nationalism-themed song at the event, KLovers. This is BAGINDAS dedication to increase the spirit of the Indonesian people in loving this country.

Releasing a song titled 'Jayalah Selamanya', BAGINDAS hopes for the people of Indonesia, especially the youth in this era. BAGINDAS also hopes that their song can encourage the spirit of the Indonesian national team.

"The lyrics of the song 'Jayalah Selamanya' are intentionally made to ignite the spirit of the youth to love their nation more and cultivate a higher sense of nationalism because with the development of time, we have been eroded by social media and foreign culture," said Bagindas' vocalist, Andra.

In addition, Andra revealed that the song was intentionally created to welcome the final of the U-17 World Cup in Indonesia, with the hope of boosting the spirit of the Indonesian national team in their matches.

"With this song, we hope to provide encouragement and spirit so that the Indonesian U-17 national team can become champions in the U-17 World Cup in Indonesia," he added.

The choice of Ipang to be featured in the song, according to Andra, was based on a mutual agreement with other band members. Because Ipang is one of their idols.

"We agreed on Bang Ipang because he is one of those who influenced us," Andra explained.

When BAGINDAS performed with Ipang at the peak of the Red and White Cultural Parade event, the audience appeared very enthusiastic. Not only did BAGINDAS perform one song, they also entertained the audience with their popular songs.

In addition to BAGINDAS, the event was enlivened by other top artists, such as Joy Tobing, Andre Hehanusa, Atiek CB, Yuyun George, Nania, and Kindep hosted by MC Yeyen Lidya and Ronni Waluya.

The event also featured various cultural parades, including regional fashion parades, traditional dancer parades, kebaya parades, as well as culinary markets, SMEs, vehicle parades by cycling, motorbike, and car communities, and marching band performances.
