Back from Hiatus, Mea Shahira Successfully Holds Showcase Titled Not Today Not Tomorrow

Kapanlagi.com - Talented soloist Mea Shahira successfully held a showcase titled Not Today Not Tomorrow presented by Sony Music Entertainment Indonesia (SMEI) and HEYFOLKS! Held at Dekhad Gandaria on September 8th, Mea performed to the fullest.

This showcase was opened by the performances of two talented singers, Winaya and Jesenn, who are also under SMEI. Both of them successfully warmed up the atmosphere before the main menu was presented on stage.

Mea felt nervous mixed with happiness with this showcase. Because, she had been on hiatus for about two years and now decided to return to music.

In addition to the arrival of Jesenn and Winaya, she also invited Aziz Hedra who went viral with the song Somebody's Pleasure and also Farrel Hilal to duet on stage, performing the songs Buktikan and Almost is Never Enough.

“My friends are very very talented, actually if I could, I would invite all of them one by one up here. But because of limited time, I can't,” she said.

In the showcase, Mea also performed some of his own songs, namely 'Kissin' Mirrors', 'Apple of My Eyes' which was performed in full with his own rap. It was supposed to be a duet with Matter Mos.

Then it ended with his latest song released in July and became the title of the showcase, 'Not Today Not Tomorrow'. Not only did he perform his own songs, but he also performed some songs from other artists such as Sza and Beyonce.

Mea has been living in Amsterdam, Netherlands to pursue his studies. Now, Mea will stay longer in Jakarta and this is good news for his fans who have been missing his stage performances.

“Hopefully, I will be in Jakarta,” he said.
