Being More Productive During the Pandemic, Andika Kangen Band Creates His Own Record Label Called 'Babang Tamvan Records'

Kapanlagi.com - Vocalist of the music group Kangen Band, Andika Mahesa has created his own music label called 'Babang Tamvan Records'. Beautiful singer Juan Zerlinda is the first artist to be signed under 'Babang Tamvan Records'.

With Babang Tamvan Records, Juan has released a new single titled Cinta Tiada Batas (Unlimited Love). The song does not express love for just one person. This is because of Juan Zerlinda's young age.

"This song is actually a millennial song about teenagers, still millennial. So, the song doesn't focus on one person. Love knows no boundaries but the person doesn't exist. So, it's for everyone like that," said Andika in Kemang, South Jakarta, on Friday (19/2/2021).

"If we talk about the lyrics, it suits Juan. At her age, she should sing something like this. She doesn't have a partner yet, so (love) has no boundaries like that," added Andika.

2. Often Cover Other People's Songs

Juan Zerlinda is a talented young singer with a beautiful voice. Almost every day, Juan covers songs by other singers. Impressed by Juan's vocal character, Andika was interested in creating a new work which resulted in Cinta Tiada Batas.

"Previously, he (Juan) only covered other people's songs. I saw that he has a good voice, so I gave him a song," said Andika.

3. Initially Nervous

Juan admitted that he initially felt nervous when asked to sing the latest song written by Andika. However, because it was considered good, Juan finally dared to sing the song.

"So, maybe I was nervous. Then, when improving the song, I was given a new song, and I sang it as if it was tailored to me," said Juan.

4. Remembering Mother's Message

In this case, Juan Zerlinda along with Babang Tamvan Records hopes that this project can be well received by the public.

"Yes, hopefully it can be accepted by the wider community," Juan concluded.
