Bless the Knights Releases Single 'Metamorphosis' After a Hiatus

Kapanlagi.com - 2023 is proving to be a productive year for musicians. One of them is Bless the Knights. The band, known for frequently playing Djent music, had taken a break.

Yes, they slept for quite some time, but they're back with a new single titled Metamorphosis. Bless the Knights has drastically changed their musical concept, but still uses solo guitar as their trademark hook.

The decision to return as a band was made because Fritz felt that it was time to return to the stage as the Covid-19 pandemic subsided and improved after almost three years of affecting the world.

“I feel that the true stage for a band is a physical stage, the real stage is the real stage, itself. Especially now that the pandemic is considered over, I want Bless the Knights to live again, walk again, and hang out again with metalhead friends all over Indonesia,” said Fritz recently.

Regarding the choice of the title Metamorphosis, it was done solely to ensure the band's sustainability and reach more listeners who want simpler but still fierce music.

2. More Calm

"I want to make sure that Bless the Knights this time has a longer lifespan and is more easily accepted by people who want to hear something simpler," explained Fritz.

"With the current formation, Bless the Knights will appear lighter but not 'changing genders', still in the realm of Djent, the music is calmer than before but will be more terrifying in my guitar solo," he added.

In addition to surprising through a change in musical style, Bless the Knights also now collaborates with 2 vocalists at once, namely Cas Coldfire (clean vocals) and Gilang Rammadhan (scream vocals) and is supported by Naufal who will sit behind the drums.
