CALIXTO, a New Teen Boyband with 5 Talented Teenagers as Potential Idols

Kapanlagi.com - After successfully launching Coboy Junior a few years ago, PAPI INDONESIA is now introducing a new boyband named CALIXTO. This boyband consists of 5 talented teenagers, namely Noel, Ghatfaan, Farrel, Naufal, and Sinyo. Each of them is between 13 and 15 years old.

As additional information, CALIXTO was formed from the PAPI TALENT event held during the PPKM period. This means that the 5 members above have gone through various long processes to reach this point, starting from Online Auditions, Digital YouTube Challenges, to Zoom Interviews.

"We are very happy and excited that in the prolonged pandemic situation, we can still create a teenage boyband for the Indonesian music industry. We believe that together, Boyband CALIXTO can become a new idol barometer," said Indra Bekti, the founder of PAPI INDONESIA, in a press release received by KapanLagi.com.

Gautama, the Founder and composer of Boyband Calixto, added, "Although we are facing various limitations and challenges in the current difficult situation, as musicians, we never dream of creating a quality music entertainment for children. Due to concerns about fading children's songs, we believe that CALIXTO will bring a new color to the Indonesian music industry, especially for teenage boybands."

1. Debut Single 'Best Friends Forever'

CALIXTO immediately made their debut with the single titled Best Friends Forever (BFF), which presents the concept of 5 friends who promise to meet every 7 years on the eternal hill. The production of the song itself can be said to have progressed quite quickly without many obstacles. Although they have just joined a boy band, it seems that Noel CS already have such great chemistry with each other.

What's special is that CALIXTO is currently preparing their second single, the title and release date of which are still kept secret. However, what is certain is that the storyline concept will be consistent with this first single, Best Friends Forever (BFF).

These are not ordinary kids. Some of them have become hosts, actors, and soap opera players.

Their performance has been extraordinary, so we are proud to introduce Calisto. The title of their first song, Best Friend Forever, can be liked by everyone.
