Celebrate the 95th Youth Pledge Day, Minister of Youth and Sports Collaborates with Festival Director Pestapora

Kapanlagi.com - The commemoration of Youth Pledge Day (HSP) on October 28, 2023 feels special, as this year has been designated as a national holiday. This decision was announced through a Joint Ministerial Decree (SKB) from the Minister of Religious Affairs, Minister of Manpower, and Minister of Administrative and Bureaucratic Reform regarding National Holidays and Joint Leave in 2023.

This year's 95th HSP commemoration has a different nuance, especially because the Ministry of Youth and Sports (Kemenpora) under the leadership of Minister Dito Ariotedjo plays a major role. He emphasizes the importance of the values of mutual cooperation and helping each other in building the character of the youth. He invites all parties to work together in creating inclusive and collaborative youth activities and movements throughout the month of October.

"Ahead of the 95th Youth Pledge Day commemoration, I invite all stakeholders to collaborate in creating youth activities and movements from the center to the regions in a participatory, inclusive, and collaborative manner during the month of October and beyond. The values of mutual cooperation and helping each other must be preserved and used as the foundation for character building," said Minister Dito.

1. Repeat the Success of Pestapora

They have teamed up with Kiki Ucup Aulia, who successfully held the previous Pestapora event, such as the music festival at Gambir Expo and JIExpo Kemayoran Jakarta last month. Ucup Aulia has been appointed as the Deputy Chairman of the HSP 95th Anniversary Celebration.

"I also invite and appoint Rizky Aulia, known as Ucup Pestapora, as the Vice Chairman of the HSP 95th Anniversary Organizing Committee to collaborate with us, to achieve more success, to shake and move the enthusiasm of the youth," said Minister of Youth and Sports, Dito.

Interestingly, Pestapora, which was previously organized by Ucup Aulia, did not use state budget funds, but instead utilized cooperation with several sponsors. This shows that collaboration with external parties can bring success.

2. Main Event at Monas

Before the HSP celebration, the Ministry of Youth and Sports also successfully held the Indonesian Youth Festival 2023 in their office courtyard. This event became a forum for friendship and strengthened cooperation among young people, involving various youth organizations and communities.

The peak of the festival took place on October 14-15, 2023, and included activities such as seminars, stand-up comedy, vocal group performances, and a concert by the band Ungu. Not only that, there were also the presence of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) that are increasingly known and developed through this event, which is relevant to the younger generation.

As part of the HSP 95th Anniversary commemoration, the National Monument (Monas) will be the center of the celebration with the theme "Together Building Indonesia." This theme reflects the collaboration between the Ministry/Institutions, Centers, Regions, and various stakeholders, in accordance with Presidential Regulation Number 43 of 2022 on Strategic Coordination Across Sectors for Youth Services.

The selection of Monas as the location for the HSP 95th Anniversary celebration is a symbol of the spirit to achieve the glory of Indonesia Maju towards 2045. This affirms that collaboration between various parties is the key to success in the development of Indonesian youth.
