Db Mandala has his own reasons for naming his album 27 dan Masih Bertahan. For him, his current career needs to be celebrated with an album. It's not just a celebration, but also an expression of gratitude to God, because he can still create music up until now.

"The title 27 dan Masih Bertahan itself is like a celebration for me personally, at this age I can still make music. For me, it's a great blessing that God has given me," said Db Mandala recently.

1. Previously Released Single in 2017

Db Mandala previously released a single in 2017 titled Halusinasi. It has been a challenging journey, and now he is going to release his debut album. In his upcoming album, Db Mandala combines Pop Punk vocals with Hip Hop beats. Pop Punk is Db Mandala's identity as he used to be a vocalist in that genre of band.

"But there are still some distinctive characteristics of Db that won't disappear. Like his emotional vocals, existential lyrics blended with spirituality and love," said Db Mandala.

2. Embed a Message of Success

In the album27 and Still Surviving, there will be 12 songs. In this album, Db Mandala also embeds a message about success. For him, the timeline of someone's success varies. By being consistent in what you do, success will come.

"When it comes to messages, I believe the 'success' timeline for each person is different. So it doesn't matter if it takes you 12 years or 40 years. Don't look around, even if others have achieved so much while you're still in the same place. Just do what you can do. There will definitely be a time when the spotlight will shine on you, and this applies not only in music," he said.
