"In the future, I really want to collaborate with Melly Goeslaw. I enjoy listening to her songs. I hope I can collaborate. If there's a chance, I really want to write songs together with Melly," he said.

"My parents asked me to mature my vocals and the industry, so they told me to go to school first. After graduating from college, I worked at a label. After maturing, then I became a singer. I don't want to be an instant singer," Christie continued.

Christie released the single Pelangi, which is a rearrangement of the late Chrisye's song with the same title. According to Christie, this song tells a story about longing.

"A work that tells the expression of longing for someone who is no longer with us. The song Pelangi from the album Badai Pasti Berlalu was popularized by the late legend Chrisye in 1977," wrote Christie on her Instagram some time ago.

Not alone, the woman who once studied at Stanford University collaborated with David NOAH. "I hope this collaboration between me and @dorfel_dave can make this song more enjoyable," added Christie.

What's interesting is that this single Pelangi was also chosen to enliven the soundtrack of the soap opera BADAI PASTI BERLALU starring Stefan William, Michelle Ziudith, and Caesar Hito.
