Condition Critically and Undergo Surgery, Senior Musician Idang Rasjidi Passes Away

Kapanlagi.com - At the end of this year, a sad news colors the entertainment world in the country. Senior jazz musician, Idang Rasjidi, passed away on Saturday night (4/12).

The news was revealed directly by Shadu Rasjidi, the bassist of Deadsquad and the son of the deceased, through a post on his Instagram account. Idang passed away at the age of 63.

"Innalillahi wa inailaihi rajiun, our beloved father Chaidar Idang Rasjidi has passed away at 23:35 at RS Azra Bogor," wrote Shadu, as quoted by KapanLagi.com.

Not forgetting, Shadu also requests good prayers for the late.

"Please forgive all his mistakes during his lifetime and pray for him to get the best place in the sight of Allah. Amen," concluded Shadu while uploading a photo of the late.

Meanwhile, famous music observer, Adib Hidayat, also announced the departure of Idang through a post on IG story.

"Jazz musician Idang Rasjidi passed away on Saturday (4/12/2021) at 23:35. Shadu Rasjidi, who is now a bass player for @deadsquad.official, announced the sad news of his father's death. Deep condolences to the family left behind," wrote Adib Hidayat.

2. Experienced Complications While Being Ill

A few days earlier, Idang Rasjidi fell ill. He was reported to have experienced complications and his condition was quite critical.

"He was very sick. Various colors of illness. So he experienced complications. There are still many things that need to be seen to take action," said Jilly Likumahuwa, when contacted by reporters, on Thursday (2/11/2021).

3. Rumored to Undergo Amputation

There are even indications stating that Idang Rasjidi will undergo amputation.

"That's true. The procedure is amputation, but it must meet the criteria first to save through amputation. If it doesn't meet the criteria yet, it will be postponed," Jilly added.

4. Previously Underwent Surgery

From Shadu's own post, it is known that Idang Rasjidi previously underwent surgery. In fact, the result of the surgery at that time was said to be successful. However, fate had other plans.

"Alhamdulillah, the surgery process last night went well and smoothly. Insha Allah, it's for the best. Stay strong, beh," Shadu wrote in one of his Instagram posts.
