Musician Muhammad Irsan, or Ear Sun, has officially released his first full album titled NYALA on November 28, 2025. This launch marks an important chapter in his career as the album was delayed due to critical health conditions. This situation made the musician decide that this work should no longer be postponed for release.

The release of NYALA addresses the curiosity of listeners who have followed Ear Sun's creative process since he started his career as a singer in 2021. Beginning with an accidental meeting with the duo Endah N Rhesa, he then released two mini albums and several singles with energetic music and rich instrumentation.

The NYALA album was initially scheduled for release in 2024. However, a major change occurred when seven songs were completely replaced with new material produced throughout 2025. This overhaul made the project more mature, despite being full of challenges and dynamics in the process.

The background of the delay became increasingly complex when Ear Sun suddenly experienced a decline in health. He had to undergo intensive care in the ICU and even experienced a code blue situation or medical emergency. This incident became a turning point that pushed him to complete the album as soon as possible.

NYALA contains 11 songs that discuss various phases of life without the usual melancholic touch that characterizes pop music. The themes range from friendship, gratitude for life, health, to social criticism regarding toxic behavior and experiences of being exploited by others.

Musically, this album is produced together with young producer Kinar Sekar, supported by several professional musicians such as Kamga, Jordy Waelauruw, Rhesa Aditya, and Andika Putra. This collaboration shapes the musical identity of Ear Sun, which is rich in instruments and has a warm tone.
