Feeling Fake After Diving into the Entertainment Industry, This is How Dul Becomes Himself

Kapanlagi.com - Dul Jaelani is getting more serious with his choice as a musician. In the near future, the third son of Ahmad Dhani and Maia Estianty's marriage will release a mini album.

Interestingly, the songs in the mini album are accompanied by stories behind their creation. Dul writes them himself and presents them in a novel-like format.

"Right now, I'm preparing a mini album. There are 'behind the song' stories included, but I present them like a novel. So, life experiences that I have never expressed in any media will be there, including the story of the song 'Tiara,'" said Dul, interviewed in the Kapten Tendean area, South Jakarta, on Friday (8/7/2020).

1. Be Yourself

Dul intentionally tells his life story in written form because he is currently discovering a new passion for writing. Writing is also his way of being himself because once he dives into the entertainment industry, he can no longer be himself due to job demands.

"I want to be myself. I can no longer be myself fully in this industry because of various commercial demands. I can only be myself on a sheet of paper. So when I write, my book is the real me," he emphasized.

2. Box Set Format for Sale

Furthermore, the soon-to-be-released mini album will be available in a box set format. In addition to containing the album and a book of life experiences, it will also include a t-shirt, mask, and letters.

"It will be sold in a box set format. The preparations are now 80 percent complete, and it will contain a CD, book, t-shirt, mask, and letters," Dul stated.
