Gandeng Gisella Anastasia, Young Lex Releases New Song Titled 'Masih Bisa Panjang'

Kapanlagi.com - Young Lex has released a new song titled Masih Bisa Panjang (Still Can Go On). Unlike his previous single, CIU which had an upbeat and reggae vibe, Young Lex's new song is more mellow.

Masih Bisa Panjang tells the story of regret from someone who still wants to continue their relationship with their ex-lover. The 28-year-old rapper also collaborates with Gisella Anastasia for this duet.

"Actually, I made this song a while ago, and at that time I wanted a female voice. While searching, I thought of Gisella. Finally, I talked to Trinity Optima Production, they agreed, we both contacted Gisella's team, and, well, this collaboration happened," said Lex.

1. A Pride

For Gisella, being able to collaborate with Young Lex is a pride of its own. Especially since she feels that the song they sing will be enjoyed by many people.

"It's an honor to collaborate with Lex. Honestly, I am very happy to have this opportunity. Moreover, the song they performed is really adorable, it can touch many people's hearts," said Gisella.

2. Gisel and Young Lex Complement Each Other

As an A&R from Trinity Optima Production, Simhala Avadana confirms this. Creatively, Mhala sees that both of them have different musical styles and voices that complement each other.

"Young Lex has collaborated quite often with female singers. But, it feels like this is the first collaboration with Gisella. They complement each other here," said Mhala.

3. Not Personal Experience

Singing a heartbreak-themed song, Young Lex admits that he has never experienced what happens in the single. However, he still tries to empathize with the feelings of the person in that position when performing the song.

"I have never experienced it, actually. But, I always make sure that I put myself in that position when singing the song. So, I can feel the emotions. Plus, Gisella, who I think is suitable to perform this song. So, more people can relate to this song," said Young Lex.

Gisella also hopes that many people will be touched by the meaning of the song Masih Bisa Panjang. "I hope many hearts will be touched by this song. Because we have to realize that a relationship cannot work with just one person," she said.
