Kapanlagi.com - Renowned composer Addie MS will hold a concert titled "A Family Symphony". In this concert, Addie MS invites his wife, Memes, and their two children, Kevin Aprilio and Tristan Juliano. The "A Family Symphony" concert will be held on October 19, 2023, at 19:30 WIB, at Ciputra Artpreneur Theater, Lotte Shopping Avenue, Mega Kuningan, Jakarta.

This concert lasts for about 120 minutes, where Maestro Addie MS with Twilite Orchestra will accompany his wife, Memes, and collaborate with his eldest son, Kevin Aprilio, with the group Vierratale, as well as his youngest son, Tristan Juliano, with the group Mantra Vutura & Lomba Sihir.

"So we come from four different generations, I'm a baby boomer, Memes is Gen X, Kevin is a millennial, Tristan is Gen Z, each with their own specific characteristics and different genres," said Addie MS in a press conference in the Wijaya area, South Jakarta, on Monday (28/8/2023).

"We had a concert together in 2014, but this time it will be different because back then Tristan was still young and didn't have a band yet. What makes this interesting is that in terms of music, we all have our own concepts," added Kevin Aprilio.

Addie MS revealed that the concert "A Family Symphony" can be used as a family gathering that has rarely been done at home. Yes, all this time Addie MS and Memes rarely gather together with their two children at home because they have their own busy schedules.

"It started from the increasing difficulty for the four of us to meet due to our recording and concert schedules, Memes came up with the idea to create this concert, where we can meet, discuss, practice, and perform at the same event, celebrating our 36 years as a family," said Addie MS.

"Initially, it actually answered the longing to gather with the children. When else can we dedicate a collaborative concert, the timing had to be this year, and fortunately we got sponsors and hopefully this concert can not only be a family gathering but also entertain," added Memes.

In the concert "A Family Symphony", Addie MS will also share stories about the journey of family life and the ups and downs in pursuing his music career. Of course, with familiarity and laughter on a unique and grand stage.
