High School Years, Afgan Often Listens to Songs Using Headsets While Raisa Likes Singing Using a Piano

Kapanlagi.com - Two top singers of the country, Afgan and Raisa, have just released their latest duet single titled "Tunjukkan". Simultaneously, Afgan and Raisa also released the music video for the song composed by Alam Urbach.

The music video is directed by Gilbert March, a director who has previously worked on Raisa's music video for "You" and Ramengvrl's "Look At Me Now". What is interesting in the music video is that both Raisa and Afgan appear very agile and energetic.

"We wanted to prove that we can be agile. It's just for fun, Gilbert March directed this music video, he also directed the music video for "You"," said Afgan in a virtual press conference on Friday (11/6/2020).

What is also interesting is that in the music video, Raisa and Afgan are wearing high school uniforms. "Yes. It is a reference to the music video for "Percayalah", whether or not we should wear high school uniforms. But it turned out to be funny," said Raisa.

Talking about high school days, Raisa and Afgan have their own stories. Coincidentally, Afgan and Raisa attended the same high school, which is SMA Negeri 34 Jakarta, Jakarta Selatan. However, Raisa and Afgan were in different batches. During high school, Afgan was Raisa's senior.

Raisa still remembers clearly when she met Afgan at school, the singer of the song 'Sadis' always wore a headset to listen to music.

"What I remember the most is, I always told people that every time I met Afgan on the stairs (at school), he was always listening to music. So he always wore a headset wherever he went. The music player was in his pocket," said Raisa.

2. Singer's Talent

Raisa's talent as a singer was already evident when she was in high school. This was seen when Raisa performed at a school event. The mother of one child once sang at a prom night event organized by her own senior.

"Yaya (Raisa's nickname) loves to sing. She has loved singing since high school. During my batch's prom night, it was Yaya who sang while playing the piano," Afgan concluded.
