2019 Concert
Kotak, a band led by Tantri, Cella, and Chua greets pedestrians crossing the evening in Terowongan Kendal, Jakarta on Friday (26/7/2019). When the lights in the Kendal Street and Sudirman Street area start to turn on.
The song Terbang opened the performance of the band Kotak at around 18:30 WIB, causing pedestrians who have already or will ride the MRT or Airport Train at BNI City Station to stop and gather at the edge of the stage.
“Good evening, friends. For those who were about to go home but stopped to see us here, please come by first. Because there is a cool event from Narasi,” Tantri greeted the pedestrians to watch their performance.
The Kendal Tunnel, where the Kotak band members performed, was filled with surprised and entertained audience members by the beautiful voice of Tantri singing the song Masih Cinta, accompanied by Cella's acoustic guitar.
The presence of Kotak in the tunnel connecting Sudirman MRT (Integrated Mass Rapid Transit) Station and Sudirman Electric Train (KRL) increased the crowd, as the song Beranikan Dirimu broke the excitement of the audience.
The presence of Chua Kotak's child on stage added to the warmth of the atmosphere when the song Pelan-Pelan Saja was performed. Chua's smile and laughter broke out as he watched his eldest son's performance in the beauty of the Kendal tunnel lights.
A banner with the words "Kerabat Kotak Majalengka" can be seen among the crowd when Tantri, the vocalist, distributed chocolates during the song Beraksi as the finale of the Kotak band's street performance.
Kotak's performance in the Road to Playfest 2019 is part of the Playfest 2019 music show series which will take place on August 24-25, 2019 at the South Parking area of Gelora Bung Karno, Senayan, Jakarta.
