"When I was four or five years old, I started singing at home, whether it was my own songs or songs I heard from the radio or television," said Audi Kirana at the Kapanlagi Youniverse office, Central Jakarta, on Monday (25/9/2023).

Not only a singer, Audi also has an interest in playing musical instruments.

"I started learning to play the piano when I was little, and then I learned to play the guitar, especially the guitar. But now I rarely play it," Audi said with a laugh.

Of course, many are curious whether his mother, Feni Rose, immediately guided him after knowing her child's musical talent. Audi said, it was actually his mother herself who was his first music teacher.

"Not really. I already liked singing, and my first teacher was my mom. When I was in second grade, I joined my mom for singing lessons. After that, I was taught," he said.

Audi Kirana has grown up in a musical atmosphere at home since childhood. Moreover, he comes from a family that has a deep love for music.

"I liked singing in high school, and I used to sneak my dad or mom's phone. And my dad also had a band, so yeah. Many of my cousins ​​entered that field (music)," he said.

In his musical journey, Audi has been influenced by various types of music and singers. He mentioned some inspirations, ranging from Ariana Grande to Kurt Cobain when he was interested in rock genre, as well as the times when he felt a connection with Emo music through My Chemical Romance.

"Who else, there are many. I had many phases when I was little, so when I was little it was like, I don't know, like Ariana Grande, and then when I became a teenager, I got into rock, like Kurt Cobain. And then the Emo phase like My Chemical Romance," Audi concluded.
