Linkin Park Distributes Tahu Bulat in Jakarta, Welcomes ‘From Zero’ Concert

Linkin Park greets fans in Indonesia in a unique way ahead of their concert at Stadion Madya, Jakarta, on Sunday (16/2/2025). As part of the promotion for their latest album, "From Zero", this American band distributed tahu bulat to their fans.

This action was carried out using a white pick-up truck decorated with ornaments bearing the band's name. This initiative is not just a gimmick, but rather the result of in-depth research to create something that resonates more closely with the Indonesian community.

"We definitely created this idea with research. We see that Linkin Park has millions of fans in Indonesia, we want to create something special, something that is very close to the community," said a representative from Warner Music Indonesia, Sunday (16/2/2025).

"Meeting the idea of 'tahu bulat' is perfect! Everyone knows it, everyone loves it. This is how we show that Linkin Park is also 'so Indonesian,'" said a representative from Warner Music Indonesia.

The concert "From Zero World Tour 2025" in Jakarta marks the third time Linkin Park has performed in Indonesia. This American band first held a concert in the country in 2004 at Ancol, then returned in 2011 with a grand stage at Gelora Bung Karno Stadium.

Now, after 14 years, Linkin Park is back to greet Indonesian fans with a concert at Stadion Madya. However, this concert feels different from the previous ones as it is Linkin Park's first tour with new vocalist Emily Armstrong, who replaces Chester Bennington after his passing in 2017.

The unique idea of sharing round tofu was born from various discussions that took place at Link In Park Garden, Jakarta. This place serves as a gathering spot for Linkin Park fans in Indonesia to come together and share stories. From there, the idea emerged to combine distinctive Indonesian elements into the concert promotion.

"Our creative process began at Link In Park Garden in Jakarta. We wanted to create something memorable for Linkin Park fans. After discussions, we found a fresh idea to combine round tofu and Link In Park Garden," he stated.

Round tofu was chosen for a reason. This typical Indonesian snack is widely known and has an interesting concept, which is fried on the spot in a pick-up truck—similar to the surprises that Linkin Park often gives to their fans.
