Kapanlagi.com - After a long absence, the band group KAPTEN returns with their latest song titled Legenda. This song is under the label Margadiya Musik, KLovers.

The release of the song Legenda is evidence that the band consisting of Zacky (vocals), Pupun (guitar), Arief (bass), and Qiwe (drums) still exists in the Indonesian music industry. This band, active since 2004, continues to carry the rock music genre in their songs, including Legenda.

However, Legenda will bring modern elements to refresh the music. This song was created by Pupun, the guitarist, and arranged together with other band members in Escape Bandung studio, KLovers.

Pupun explains that the song Legend makes the music presentation full of spirit and abundant energy, KLovers.

"Through the lyrics of the song Legend, KAPTEN tries to tell that every human being has choices and different paths in life," said Pupun, Monday (21/8/2023).

"The lyrics of the Legend song contain an invitation to unite and become a fire full of energy, to succeed and move forward together, facing all the obstacles of life," Pupun added.

Clearly, the band that rose to fame through the song Sexy Song doesn't eliminate the rock music element that is the main characteristic of KAPTEN. "So, there are elements that are skillfully blended in this song Legend. In the song Legend, the lyrics invite us all to not pay too much attention to negative words and insults, just keep moving forward," said Pupun.

"It is certain that it takes a tremendous amount of energy to sing this song. No doubt," added the vocalist, Zacky.

Together with Ideas Creative, CAPTAIN tries to give a little idea of what they want to convey in the music video for the song 'Legend'.

"Visually, CAPTAIN wants to appear fresh, new, and able to adapt to the current music industry situation. Because the lyrics of the song Legend contain motivation to move forward and succeed together, there must be elements that represent that spirit," Zacky concluded.
