Mikha Tambayong's Performance on the Birthday of her Late Mother

Kapanlagi.com - Mikha Tambayong released her latest song titled Tak Tergantikan today, August 6, 2020. This song is a special tribute from Mikha Tambayong to her late mother, Deva Malaiholo, who passed away a year ago. She intentionally released the song on her mother's birthday.

Mikha was assisted by Deva Mahenra and Ifa Fachir in writing the lyrics of the song. As for the composition, Ifa Fachir and Dimas Wibisana were entrusted with it.

"I insisted on releasing it on August 6 because today is my late mother's birthday. So this is a tribute single for her, it just feels right. I thought about wanting to make a song for my mom," said Mikha Tambayong during a virtual press conference on Thursday (6/8).

Mikha Tambayong admits to being very close to her mother. Besides being her only child, her mother also encouraged her to pursue a career in entertainment.

"I'm closest to her because I'm her only child and it was also my mother who pushed me to pursue a career in entertainment," she continued.

2. Returning to the Music World After 2 Years

This is a sign of Mikha Tambayong's return to the music world after releasing the song Berpisah Itu Mudah (Breaking Up Is Easy) two years ago with Rizky Febian. She also said that this is one of the blessings during the pandemic because she finally rediscovered her passion for music.

"Actually, when I released the song Berpisah Itu Mudah, I was filming a movie. After focusing on filming, I decided to pursue my Master's degree, so it got postponed again. It seems like this pandemic is a blessing because it turns out my passion is in music. So, after a long time, I finally released a new single," she concluded.
