Officially Joining RANS Music, Kevin Bern Releases Debut Single 'Bukan Kamu'

Kapanlagi.com - Kevin Bern's name may still be unfamiliar to us. He is a new singer who has the potential to become something big in the Indonesian music industry. Proof of this is that Kevin was immediately approached by Nagita Slavina and Raffi Ahmad to join RANS Music.

Although he has only recently started his professional career, Kevin has been surrounded by a family that loves music since he was a child. Kevin has even been busy with the world of music since elementary school, participating in orchestras, marching bands, singing in church, and forming a band to perform at Sweet 17 and Wedding events.

His dream of becoming a professional and famous singer began to come true after joining RANS Music under the guidance of Raffi Ahmad and Nagita Slavina. Recently, Kevin introduced his debut single titled 'Bukan Kamu'.

During a press conference with the media, Kevin expressed his happiness and gratitude for being able to work with great people, including Raffi Ahmad and Nagita Slavina.

"I feel really happy and grateful to be working with extraordinary people. I am thankful for the opportunity to sing amazing works and bring a new voice. One thing I want to convey is that I want to work honestly and with heart," said Kevin in the Kuningan area, South Jakarta, on Friday, March 25, 2022.

2. The Story Behind the Song 'Bukan Kamu'

The single 'Bukan Kamu' (Not You) raises the theme of love, where the story is about someone who finally realizes that the partner he has loved all this time is not someone he wants. Kevin said that the story of his song will definitely relate to many people.

"I feel that topics like this will definitely relate to many people. There are also many who may be on the journey of this song's story. So, I hope that the message of this song can reach and be felt by everyone who listens to it," said the musician who idolizes Sammy Simorangkir, Michael Buble, and Brian McKnight.

3. Setting up a Video Clip in Turkey

To create a music video for the song Bukan Kamu, Kevin didn't want to do things halfway. He went for a shoot in his favorite country, Turkey. The shooting process took about 10 days.

"Turkey is actually my favorite country, that's why I'm grateful for the special opportunity to visit the country and the city that I dream of. That's also why I decided to shoot there," said Kevin.

To create the video clip, Kevin was also assisted by Deddy Nur as Creative Director, Dion Hizkia Sani as Videographer and Editor, Watje Pondaga as Stylist and Johnson Gustavo (BMA Management) as Artistic Team.

"The process of making it was really exciting because the team involved was small. Moreover, when we were on location, many things didn't match what we saw on Google, so we had to think again about how to get the right place and angle. But thankfully, everything went well" Kevin recalled.
