On His 60th Birthday, Iwan Fals Releases 'PUN AKU' Album on a Special Day - Rumored to be About Sacred Events

It was just born like that, the ones I sang specifically, then chosen by Cikal," said Iwan Fals in a virtual press conference on Friday (3/9/2021).

During the making of the PUN AKU album, Iwan Fals entrusted everything to his first child, Annisa Cikal Rambu Basae or affectionately known as Cikal. In the PUN AKU album, Cikal and Lafa were trusted to become music producers.

"From the creation process to the final mixing, I just let it be, the producers are Cikal and Lafa. There's nothing I can refuse, responded by Musica, I miss going to the radio stations, there's longing. Yes, this is totally me," said Iwan Fals.

"I was also surprised to find out that Cikal and Lafa's collaboration was well-organized. In the past, it took us 9 months to complete one album, but now it's crazy, more accurate, without wasting time and the mood remains intact," said Iwan Fals. Maybe it's because it's special on Iwan's birthday, that's why his child worked so fast on his new album.
