Once Crushed on a Guy at Campus, Alisha Syafa Mikaila Tells the Story Through the Song 'Sampai Bertemu'

Since the age of 5, Mikaila has started learning to play the piano, and at the age of 10, she conquered her first guitar. Music has become an integral part of her life since then.

"So I used to have a crush on a guy on campus, I was just amazed and liked him, there was no story between us. Until finally, I wrote this song based on my imagination of our story, even though the story is fictional," said Mikaila.

"The only real part is the part where I eventually had to leave college to pursue a career in music. Well, this guy who inspired me continued his studies. So basically, this song is a mix of imagination and personal experience," she added.

In her hopes, the song Sampai Bertemu (Until We Meet) can depict the feelings of those who are trying to achieve their dreams while still prioritizing the defense of their hearts. Mikaila hopes that her song can resonate with young people and anyone facing similar situations.

"Honestly, this is my first experience playing a role with someone else and the first time shooting a music video with a storyline. Usually, it's just beauty shots. For me, the acting part was quite awkward, but fun, and the 13 Nadi Entertainment team was also solid and fun! I realized that I actually quite enjoy acting," she said.

"I think yes it relates, many of my friends, especially women, after hearing the song Sampai Bertemu, said that the song relates to them. I hope this song can be well received by all my listeners," she concluded.
