Vengaboys is a Eurodance music group from the Netherlands that became popular in the late 1990s with hit songs like Boom, Boom, Boom, Boom!! and We Like to Party!. Formed by producers Danski and Delmundo, the group is known for its energetic style and iconic party songs. They achieved global success and continue to perform at various nostalgia concerts to this day.

Recently, one of the members of Vengaboys, Kim Sasabone, caught the attention of Indonesian netizens. Kim proudly revealed her Indonesian heritage!

Last March, Kim Sasabone posted a photo of herself in the Tuhaha area, East Saparua, Central Maluku.

Through her Instagram caption, Kim Sasabone tells the story of her origins. She also adds a few words in Indonesian such as 'pulang' (return) and 'moyang' (ancestor).

"This is where I come from. Tuhaha Beinusa Amalatu. On an island in Saparua, Maluku Indonesia. I was born and raised in the Netherlands, but this is where my roots are. Where the old house (the old house where the Sasabone family has lived for almost three centuries) is located. Where my ancestors have lived in the mountains for at least 1500 years."
