Produced by Pepe Wong Pitoe, Singer Meidhy G Brings the Song 'Jealousy'

Kapanlagi.com - Singer Meidhy G has just released her latest song titled Jealousy. She is not alone on this song, as Meidhy duets with Bayou Kansil. Meidhy explained that Jealousy was not based on her personal experience, but was written based on someone else's confession.

"It's not based on my personal experience. It's based on stories from friends. I like to make a song from a story. So this is real," Meidhy said when met at Bali Notes Terrace, South Jakarta, on Thursday (18/5/2023).

Actually, the song Jealousy had been produced since last year. The producer of the song Jealousy, Pepe 'Wong Pitoe', said that due to various obstacles, the song was finally released in early May. Interestingly, this song was released on Meidhy's birthday.

"It's been since last year. Maybe there were many obstacles from the production side until the mastering process, and it was only in January or February that we finished it. After that, we rushed to launch it and finally decided to launch it on May 4," said Pepe.

The song Jealousy is packaged with a 90s vibe. That's why Meidhy wanted another singer to duet with her on her latest single. Recommended by Ivan Saba, Meidhy finally chose Bayou Kansil to be her duet partner on the song Jealousy.

"Because he's the best for this project. I think Bayou is suitable. The story is that I have a friend named Ivan Saba, so I asked Ivan, 'who is the rapper that fits my song? I'll let you listen to it, Ivan said 'I'll introduce you to the right person'," Meidhy said.

Then, Bayou also feels happy because he became Meidhy's duet partner on the song Jealous. What makes him even happier is that he was recommended by Ivan Saba who is considered as a brother and mentor

"So, our bridge is Ivan Saba. So Ivan Saba is a brother and mentor for me, so whatever he says, I definitely believe it, that's a good thing. When we met, it was great. I like 90's music suddenly the concept of 90's music is a blessing for me," Bayou concluded.
