Raisa Admits It's Hard to Choose Songs for the LOVE & LET GO concert

Kapanlagi.com - The selection of the song list or setlist is one of the hardest parts for Raisa in preparing for her concert next year. With a substantial discography from five albums, Raisa admits to being overwhelmed in deciding which songs should fit into the limited duration of the concert.

However, she gives a hint that the audience will be treated to more than 25 selected songs. Not only will there be hit songs that are often heard on the radio, but Raisa also plans to perform deep cuts or songs that she rarely sings on general festival stages.

"The songs we will perform will definitely be over 25 songs. So hopefully the audience will be super satisfied with the concert," said Raisa when met in the Senayan area on Friday (3/5/2026).

Every solo concert by Raisa always has a deep philosophy, including for 2026. With the theme Love & Let Go, this former wife of Hamish Daud wants to share about the phase of life she is currently experiencing. For her, loving and letting go are two things that always go hand in hand in every human's life.

1. Like Composing a Story

"Of course, the list is quite long, definitely more than my usual stage performances, and hopefully all the fan favorites will be included, but also the deep cuts that Youraisa will definitely like but are rarely performed on regular stages will also get their chance," added Raisa.

The process of arranging the setlist is done like composing a story. Raisa and the team divide the performance into four emotional sequences. For her, each song must have a strong reason for being in a particular order so that the message of the theme Love & Let Go can be conveyed well.

"The song list is super confusing, really confusing... honestly... because now, thank God, there are so many songs, so the competition is tough, it’s like we’re making a family tree where this one faces this one and that one loses... oh my, it feels like a quiz..." joked Raisa as she described the complexity of choosing songs.

Even though it’s confusing, Raisa really enjoys the process of reworking her songs with Andi Rianto. Some songs will even undergo quite drastic arrangement changes to match the grandeur of the orchestra. This is sure to provide a surprise for loyal fans who are already familiar with the original versions.

2. Concert Title Selection

This title selection is taken from one of her songs that is considered to represent the feelings of many people. Raisa feels that this song has a strong narrative power to be used as a major theme for the show. She wants the audience to not just listen to the music, but also feel the emotions within it.

"The theme is Love and Let Go... because many of my friends surely know the ups and downs of life until they finally decide that life is indeed about loving and letting go. So it fits perfectly as a theme later on," explained Raisa.

3. Music as a Savior in Difficult Times

Raisa also added that music often becomes her savior in difficult times. Through this concert, she wants to channel all the emotions she has felt. For her, creating is the best way to rise from every challenge that comes one after another.

"Music is what helps me in so many moments that for me are difficult, or people see this moment as really tough. But for me, one of the ways is to keep creating, producing music, listening to music, making songs, and sharing those songs with people who might have similar experiences—that's what has greatly eased my journey, which has been quite a roller coaster lately," she revealed.

4. The Concert Will Be Made Intimate for Anyone

Therefore, this concert will feel very intimate for anyone who attends. Raisa will share stories behind her songs that she may not have conveyed before. She hopes the audience can feel connected and gain the same strength through her music.

"The arrival of this concert project this year is, in my opinion, a huge blessing because all the exhaustion or all the emotions I am experiencing can be directly channeled. So, I think this is one of the projects that I really need but will also become an extraordinarily personal project," Raisa said again.

"Including Love and Let Go, which is actually a deep cut for Youraisa, so for those who are true Youraisa fans, they will definitely love this song. So, many of the deep cuts are also included. But it was really a challenge to choose the setlist," Raisa concluded.
