Raisa's Song Collaborates with Southeast Asian Rapper for the Official Soundtrack of 'RAYA AND THE LAST DRAGON' Film Released

An original soundtrack (OST) for the Disney animated film, RAYA AND THE LAST DRAGON. The single is a celebration of cultural diversity in the Southeast Asian region.

Raisa Andriana is one of the Indonesian singers who sings the song. In the song Trust Again, Raisa collaborates with three rappers, namely Yonnyboii from Malaysia, Matthaios from the Philippines, and finally Sprite from Thailand.

"It is an honor for me to be part of the special collaboration from Disney Southeast Asia. This song is a special work that provides a unique experience for me," said Raisa, on Friday (12/3/2021).

1. Song in 3 Languages

This three-language song tells the main messages of the film, which are trust and friendship. Taking inspiration from the fantasy world called Kumandra and the adventures of Raya, a warrior who embodies the spirit of Southeast Asian nations.

This multi-territory music collaboration is the first of its kind in this region and is an important achievement in Disney's commitment to continue collaborating with talented local talents to provide quality entertainment content for audiences in Southeast Asia.

What's interesting is that this song also contains elements of Southeast Asian ethnic musical instruments such as flute, ethnic percussion, jaw harp, angklung, Thai ensemble, gamelan, and Sundanese flute.

2. Grammy-Winning Collaboration

The song mastering was done by Grammy Award-winning Mastering Engineer, Chris Athens. This song undoubtedly becomes a driving force for the universal theme of trust. The song will be released along with a lyric video on March 12, 2021, and a music video featuring the four artists will be released later in March 2021.

It is known that the three rappers collaborating with Raisa are not ordinary singers. In their home country, they are the most accomplished singers with many works. In 2019, he released his debut single titled "Takut Bersama Caprice", which has reached 10 million views on YouTube to date.

2019 was Yonnyboii's year, with two collaborations with Zynakal, "Cemburu" and "Sakit", reaching 4 million and 36 million views on YouTube respectively.
