Receiving Multi Platinum Award, Virzha Admits Not Feeling Satisfied - Wants to Explore More in Music

Kapanlagi.com - Muhammad Devirzha, also known as Virzha, is a singer from Indonesian Idol season 8 in 2014. This Javanese-Acehnese-Arab blooded man joined Dewa 19 in 2021 and became the vocalist for Dewa 19's rearranged songs.

With his distinctive voice, Virzha successfully mesmerizes his listeners to get lost in his melodious singing. One of his albums titled KETIGA contains many enjoyable songs.

Singer Virzha also received the Multi Platinum Award for the sales of his album "Ketiga", which has reached 300 thousand copies. Because of that, this Dewa 19 featured vocalist is addicted to releasing albums in physical form.

1. Addicted to Releasing Physical Albums

Virzha admits that he feels addicted to releasing physical albums in the future. With physical albums, he can feel the tangible proof of his songs.

"Possibly because I still enjoy the physical aspect, I still enjoy having the evidence, not just digital," said Virzha when met at KFC Ampera, South Jakarta, on Tuesday (19/9/2023).

"Hopefully in the future, KFC can accommodate Virzha to release physical albums again," added Virzha.

2. Turned into a Memory

For Virzha, physical albums can not only be listened to using a player. But, physical albums can also be turned into memories in the future.

"Something that can become a memory in the upcoming years. Maybe it feels ordinary today, but in the future, it will definitely be very useful, it will become something that might be a memory for our children that we have gone through and crossed time," he said.

3. Admitting to Not Feeling Satisfied

Despite already receiving the Multi Platinum Award, the singer from Aceh admitted to not feeling satisfied. This is because he wants to explore more in music.

"Not yet, not satisfied, there are still many things that haven't been explored, both in terms of lyrics, arrangements, music, and music variations. I want to have new arrangements, and maybe I want to try to improve the combination of rock and groove music. There are many, many things that still need to be explored," concluded Virzha.
