Release of Single Titled "Whispering Longing", Lobow: My Songs are Never Far from the Theme of Love

Kapanlagi.com - The singer of the song You Look Beautiful Today, Lobow, has released a new single titled "Whispering Longing". The new single is a collaboration with @legendmusikindo. In addition, Lobow himself revealed that his songs are never far from the theme of love.

"My songs are never far from the theme of love. And 'Whispering Longing' still has a strong relevance to my previous songs," said Lobow, on Friday (24/7), in Jakarta.

1. About Unspoken Longing

Furthermore, the song titled "Rindu Berbisik" tells the story of unexpressed longing. The singer from Makassar, South Sulawesi, also explained that the story in the song is about the feeling of wanting to meet but difficult to achieve, which is also felt by the general public.

"This is a common story in society. Many people long for something that can no longer be reached, even though the longing cannot be held back," he explained.

"The message is very simple but I think it gets across. Many people feel longing, but they are unable to express their feelings. Through this song, they can sing and express their longing," he added.

2. Carrying Pop-Folk

Not only that, this new single titled "Rindu Berbisik" also carries a pop-folk genre with an acoustic nuance by Rachel Levina with the touch of a cello.

In fact, Lobow's former player also helped in the song "Rindu Berbisik" such as Ocenk Delewa and Efan.

"The arrangement is simpler, acoustic, and added with a cello. So there is freshness and I think it suits the song," Lobow explained, referring to his 8th single in his music career.

3. Want Two Male Vocalists

Previously, the director of support and business development from @legendamusikindo, Faisal Nurdin, wanted two male singers to fill the song "Rindu Berbisik", including Once (Mekel) or Lobow.

"I only thought that the one who sings this song should have a voice like Once (Mekel) or Lobow. And finally, after we approached both of them, it was decided that Lobow would perform this song," said Director of Support & Business Development @legendamusikindo Faisal Nurdin.

"Then in the next process, we also developed this song into an orchestral version. We are grateful to be able to work with Andi Rianto, who at that time helped us introduce Alwin, a new singer with a distinctive voice," he added.
