Release of the 4th Single, Raissa Anggiani Tells a Story About Letting Go of Someone's Departure

All this time, Raissa has always written her own songs, including Aku Kamu Yang Lain. Her latest single tells a story about parting with a partner. Although it is difficult, the bitter reality must be faced with sincerity.

"Because this is one of the special songs that I like. The meaning of the song is about letting go, parting, and praying for the best. In my opinion, letting go is not about forgetting because memories always exist. Letting go is accepting the reality that exists, not expecting like before, but just moving on," said Raissa Anggiani during a virtual press conference, Friday (25/6).

Raissa does not deny that this song is inspired by her personal experience, even though she feels that at her age of 17 she has not yet experienced complicated love stories.

Raissa feels that this song can represent the feelings of people who have stories similar to the song Aku Kamu Yang Lain. And from this latest work, it is hoped that music lovers can take a positive message to learn to let go of the departure of loved ones.

"Maybe it's also from my personal story about letting go of someone, but I'm still young and haven't experienced how it feels, but I can represent others who feel it deeply, when parting and letting go feels relieving. Maybe this is indeed the best thing," she said.

The singer, who idolizes Ardhito Pramono, also hopes that her latest song can be widely accepted in the Indonesian music market. “Hopefully, there will be many listeners, enthusiastic about this song, and many who can feel it like in this song,” Raissa concluded.
