Rossa Replaces BCL as a Judge in the Grand Final of Indonesian Idol X

Kapanlagi.com - Today, Monday (24/2) is the grand final night of the talent search event Indonesian Idol X. The remaining finalists, Tiara and Lyodra, are competing fiercely for the champion title. They will perform solo and also duet with a number of top musicians from the country on that occasion.

An oddity can be seen in the line-up of judges present. Bunga Citra Lestari was not seen that night. As known, the singer of Cinta Sejati is currently mourning the loss of her husband, Ashraf Sinclair, exactly a week ago.

Furthermore, today, Monday (24/2) coincides with the 7th-day memorial of Ashraf's passing. So, who will replace Bunga Citra Lestari in the judge's seat?

1. Rossa Replaces BCL's Position

BCL's absence is temporarily replaced by Rossa. Teh Ocha, as she is familiarly called, has a quite challenging task, considering she has to comment on the performances of the top 2 finalists in the final round.

Anyway, Rossa also expressed her condolences for the departure of BCL's husband. If there are no obstacles, after the event ends, she and the other judges will immediately go to the house of the mother of one child.

"We deeply mourn the departure of the husband of our friend, Bunga Citra Lestari. Tonight, 7 days after (Ashraf's departure). Maybe after this, us judges will go there at 1 a.m. too, God willing," said Rossa in one of the video clips shared by the official Indonesian Idol Twitter account.

2. Anang Hermansyah Arrived at BCL's House Earlier

Before the event, one of the other Indonesian Idol judges, Anang Hermansyah, took the time to attend the funeral. He was accompanied by his beloved wife, Ashanty. Unfortunately, at that time Anang and Ashanty couldn't stay long, considering their busy schedule.

When meeting BCL, Anang also didn't have much time to chat due to unfavorable conditions. "I didn't have much time to talk (with BCL) because she was still uncomfortable," said Anang when met at the funeral home before becoming a judge on Indonesian Idol X.
