Second Day of Jazz Gunung Bromo 2022, Butet Kertaredjasa Surprises - Andien Performs Attractively

Aditya Ong Trio opened the second day of Jazz Gunung Bromo 2022. Padang Bulan song was the opening song, followed by 7 other songs. The presence of Aditya Ong Trio warmed up the atmosphere of Jazz Gunung which took place at a temperature of 14 degrees in the afternoon.

After Aditya Ong Trio, it was guitarist Andre Dinuth's turn to perform on stage. Together with the band, this talented guitarist performed his songs, starting from Overture to Sahara. In the middle of the concert, Andre surprised the audience by bringing Wanda Omar, who is none other than his beloved wife. They sang 2 songs together, which marked Wanda's debut performance at Jazz Gunung.

As the night approached and the temperature became colder, Gilang Ramadhan and Komodo Project warmed up the atmosphere with their beautiful melodies. Musical instruments from various regions in the archipelago were played, with songs in various languages, including the Mangarai language of NTT. Gilang invited the audience to play melodies together in an exciting way.

This year, the Jazz Gunung Awards were given to the late Donny Suhendra. The trophy was presented by Sigit Pramono and Butet Kertaredjasa, the founders of Jazz Gunung, and received by Gilang Ramadhan. Full of emotion, Gilang expressed gratitude for the award given to his friend in the band Krakatau and promised to convey it to Donny's family.

Andien appeared attractive with various hit songs. She cried while singing the song Pulang (Home), Andien warmed up the atmosphere by inviting all the audience to stand up and dance together. She joined the audience, singing her song without any distance barrier.

Ring of Fire ft Jogja Hiphop Foundation closed the Jazz Gunung Bromo 2022 event. Performing various hit songs, this quartet, which has traveled around the world, made the night in Bromo feel warm even though the temperature had dropped to 12 degrees.

When Jogja Hiphop Foundation performed the song Ora Cucul, Butet Kertaredjasa also appeared. It turns out that Butet memorized the lyrics of this song and sang along energetically. This is Butet's second stage appearance after a 3.5-year hiatus due to illness. Despite having to use a cane, Butet sang with full enthusiasm.

Jogja Istimewa song became the closing act of Jazz Gunung Bromo 2022. Jogja Hiphop Foundation brought MC Alit Jabang Bayi and Gundhissos duo to the stage. This lively song made this concert, which is now 14 years old, even more special.
