Second Day of Jazz Gunung Bromo 2023, Yura Yunita Makes the Audience Cry and Laugh - Denny Caknan Becomes the Spotlight

Kapanlagi.com - After successfully entertaining thousands of spectators on the first day, the second day of Jazz Gunung Bromo 2023 also successfully mesmerized the audience. On the second day, which took place on Saturday, July 23, 2023, there were many more attendees.

They were waiting for the performances of their favorite stars on this second day. Some were waiting for Ermy Kullit's performance, while others deliberately attended to witness Denny Caknan and Yura Yunita.

Starting at 14:30, the second day concert began with a performance by Jeremie Ternoy Trio, who sang their hit songs. As the evening approached, it was Margie Segers and Ermy Kullit feat Yongkeys' turn to warm up the atmosphere with nostalgic songs that made the senior audience sing along.

Closing the first session, Varnasvara feat Daniel Dyonisius performed songs that warmed up the atmosphere. The thick fog that descended in the Jiwa Jawa Resort area did not diminish the enthusiasm of the audience.

That afternoon, the air in Bromo was quite chilling, around 13 degrees Celsius and shrouded in fog. Ermy Kullit admitted that she regretted not wearing a turtle neck because she thought it would be sunny.

"In the afternoon during the soundcheck, the sun was quite bright. It turned out that in the evening it was covered in thick fog, where did the sun go?" said Ermy, who made her second appearance at Jazz Gunung Bromo this year.

2. Denny Caknan Awaited

After the break, the second session began with a performance by Second Brain feat Ricad Hutapea, Eggy Bayu Pratama, and Party Aditia Faoth. They performed songs that made the audience nod their heads.

The night grew late and Ring of Fire took the stage. This band, formed by the late Djaduk Ferianto, opened their performance with the song 'First Love' by Nikka Costa, which they rearranged in a traditional style. Then they collaborated with Denny Caknan.

Starting the collaboration with a song from Banyuwangi titled 'Ulan Andung Andung', Denny Caknan and Ring of Fire got the audience moving with the songs 'Kartonyono Medot Janji' and 'Los Dol'.

3. Yura Makes the Audience Cry

Mount Bromo Jazz 2023, the second day was closed with a performance by Yura Yunita. Looking beautiful in an all-white outfit, this singer from Bandung performed her hit songs.

Yura successfully made the audience sing along and cry together. When performing the song 'Dunia Tipu-Tipu', Yura asked all the audience to hug the person next to them, and many shed tears together.

After successfully making the audience emotional, Yura closed her performance with the song 'Harus Bahagia', which made everyone stand up and dance together. Yura Yunita's energetic performance was a sweet ending at Mount Bromo Jazz, which is now 15 years old.
