Shooting the Music Video 'Saranghaeyo', Tata Liem Incorporates Popular Korean Elements

Kapanlagi.com - Tata Liem is shooting a music video for his new single titled Saranghaeyo (I Love You). Under the direction of renowned Director Darius Manihuruk from DM Picture, the Saranghaeyo music video presents an interesting drama concept and incorporates popular Korean elements.

Previously, Darius has handled music videos for a number of top singers such as Cakra Khan, Rafael Smash, Nafa Urbach, and many others. Therefore, Tata trusted Darius' expertise in creating his music video.

"The concept is simple, the story line is adapted from my song. It's about a couple who are separated but still in love. The guy neglects the girl. But then the girl transforms into someone better, more beautiful," Tata Liem said when met in the Mampang area, South Jakarta, not long ago.

"The message of the song and music video is also good. It's about trying to step out of our comfort zone and become better," he added.

1. Enter Many Korean Elements

Like the title of the song which uses the Korean language, Saranghaeyo, Tata Liem incorporates several elements of the Land of Ginseng in the music video. This was also done to make the song and music video more current.

"Starting from the hairstyles, clothing, storyline, I adapted several Korean elements. Actually, it can be said whether it's suitable or not, but it's okay. It's about trying to give a little touch (of Korea) that can resemble it very well," he said.

2. Assisted by Many Parties

In this music video, Tata Liem was also assisted and supported by several of his friends. For his outfit, Tata Liem was assisted by designer Faddad Official. Then, Fannita Posumah also appeared as a cameo, looking beautiful in a dress from De Royale Fabrics. As for the main cast in the music video, Tabitha Vivi, who is the winner of Miss Regional Autonomy 2019, appeared, while the male lead is young actor Ilham Aji. All the cast members received a magical touch from Wahyukey.

"I'm really grateful that there was a lot of support when I released this song. Starting from the designers, fashion stylists, makeup artists, and others. Especially when it comes to Korean makeup, it's a bit difficult," said Tata Liem.

3. Airing in January 2022

The song 'Saranghaeyo' itself has been released on several digital platforms. The music video will be aired in mid-January 2022. Previously, in early January, it will be played simultaneously on many local radios. Through her hard work, Tata Liem only hopes that her song can be accepted by all people.

"Her hope is that her song is accepted by all people. At my age now, I am proud because I can still create," Tata concluded.

Recently, Tata did a photoshoot for the preparation of the single 'Saranghaeyo'. Some costume styles worn were inspired by Kim Seon Ho. Fortunately, Tata Liem was assisted by great people beside her. The photoshoot was executed by Deon Angkasa. Meanwhile, the wardrobe was assisted by Irfano Albertino, also known as Fachan.

"So in this photoshoot, I appeared differently. Some costumes were inspired by my Korean idol, Kim Seon Ho. As the song's title is in Korean, the style also follows the Korean style," said Tata Liem when met in the Tangerang area, not long ago.

5. Comeback to the World of Singing

Previously, Tata had dabbled in the world of singing, singing the songs 'Masa Bodo' and 'Balutan' created by Chossy Pratama. After a long hiatus from singing, Tata Liem finally decided to make a comeback to the world of singing.

"Back then, it was for a tribute to Mr. Chossy, so it wasn't heavily promoted. Eventually, I met Div Ivangkia, and he had an idea to create a song for me. As soon as he gave it to me, I instantly liked it," explained Tata Liem.
