Studio Guard Going Home, Radja Can't Hold Online Concert

Kapanlagi.com - Since the covid 19 outbreak entered Indonesia in early March 2020, all band and singer performances in Indonesia have been canceled. Including the band Radja. The band, consisting of Ian Kasela, Moldi, Seno, and Indra, had to cancel their stage jobs due to the covid 19 virus.

"We were supposed to have a road show with one of the products, there were 15 points in April. So we wanted to catch up before fasting, but in the end, everything was canceled. Because safety is our number one priority, so we still think about our fortune but it doesn't mean we should forget about those things (health)," said Ian Kasela, to Kapanlagi.com, recently.

1. Postponed Release and Birthday Concert

In addition, Radja was also forced to postpone the release of their latest single and their 19th birthday concert. Everything was well prepared, but due to the COVID-19 virus outbreak, everything had to be postponed.

"Actually, we wanted to release it on March 17th, on Radja's birthday. At the age of 19, Radja encountered COVID-19. We had plans for the birthday concert, but everything was put on hold. In the end, we couldn't launch anything," said Ian Kasela.

2. Can Be Done Online

Actually, Radja can still hold a concert during the pandemic through online platforms. Moreover, other bands have been regularly holding online concerts that are broadcasted on their social media accounts. However, Radja's desire to hold an online concert was hindered. This is because all of their musical instruments are still in their studio.

"We can have an online concert, we wanted to do it live like other bands, but the problem is our drummer and bassist, their instruments are in the studio. And the person who takes care of the studio went back to their hometown and took the keys with them, so we couldn't do it," he said.

"I only had Moldy to help me. Moldy has a guitar at home, and I have an acoustic one. Maybe the drummer has his own instruments, but the bassist really couldn't do it because all of their instruments are in the studio," Ian Kasela concluded.
