Taken from a True Story, Wildan Alamsyah Releases Single Titled 'We Are Leaders'

On July 1, 2020, this young singer introduced his latest single titled We Are Leaders. The release of this single feels special as July 1 is also the birthdate of 'yisbar', his clothing line brand, and Ria Ricis' birthday.

We Are Leaders tells a true story taken from the best-selling book titled Pemimpi(n) written by Wildan himself. Various positive messages and encouragement are expressed in the song's lyrics, depicting the struggle of someone who eventually succeeds despite being initially underestimated by many.

"Honestly, I really love this song. The lyrics represent my feelings when I was in high school back then. Me and my friends who liked to hang out, unconsciously had conversations about our dreams. And yes, my dream has come true now. And this song teaches you that the past should never be underestimated, but should be wrapped and learned," said Wildan when met by the media in the BSD area of South Tangerang.

As known, Pemimpi(n) is also planned to be made into a feature film titled PEMIMPIN THE MOVIE. However, due to the Covid-19 pandemic, the shooting process has been postponed for an indefinite period of time. Well, the song Kami Pemimpin will also be included in the mini album Pemimpin The Movie.

"This single is expected to cure the longing of Wildan Alamsyah's fans for the film Pemimpin The Movie. Although the film production process has been delayed due to the Covid-19 pandemic, the single Kami Pemimpin is enough to entertain fans of the book and film Pemimpi(N)," said @udasoni, the Executive Producer of Pemimpi(N) The Movie.

The song Kami Pemimpin can now be listened to on various digital streaming platforms and is scheduled to be released simultaneously on July 8, 2020, on popular radio stations in Indonesia. The hope is that this song can inspire many young people to continue dreaming and strive to make their dreams come true.
