The Excitement of Everblast Festival 2024, Visitors Enthusiastic to Watch Sleeping With Sirens - Two Door Cinema Club Despite the Drizzle

Kapanlagi.com - The music event titled Everblast Festival 2024 was held at Gambir Expo located in the Kemayoran area, North Jakarta, on Saturday (30/11/2024) yesterday. Three grand stages stood in the area, ready to rock with a lineup of top local bands and international music groups, including Depapepe, 311, Sleeping With Sirens, and Two Door Cinema Club.

Opened around 14:30 WIB, a number of visitors were already very enthusiastic waiting for their favorite musicians' performances in this concert series, immediately filling Gambir Expo. In the afternoon, the weather was still quite bright, creating a festive atmosphere among the visitors. However, that was before the area was hit by drizzle in the evening.

1. Opened with Melancholy

As soon as you enter the Everblast Festival 2024 area, the BRI Stage stands tall. Since the afternoon, this stage has been opened with a performance by Float, followed by Killing Me Inside Re:Union. Their performance on stage caused a drastic escalation in music. The melancholic atmosphere brought by Float was then followed by the energetic rock sounds from Killing Me Inside Re:Union.

Meanwhile, at the end of the area, two large stages stand side by side, namely the Supermusic Stage and the main stage, the Everblast Festival 2024 Stage. Both are placed next to each other. These two stages are filled alternately by musicians performing according to their respective schedules, including evening performers like J-Rock's, 311, and of course, Two Door Cinema Club.

2. Visitor Enthusiasm

Since the afternoon, the two adjacent stages have been bustling with enthusiastic visitors eager to watch their respective idols. The Supermusic Stage was opened by Rocket Rockers at 15:10, followed by Plamboy x /rif, and then as night approached, the Japanese musician, Depapepe, took the stage.

The Supermusic Stage felt dynamic with the loud music played by Rocket Rockers as the opening act, followed by the attractive collaboration of Plamboy and /rif that brought a different vibe. The stage was then followed by the soothing acoustic guitar performance from Depapepe as the day began to turn into night.

3. The Later It Gets, The More Exciting It Becomes

Meanwhile, the main stage of Everblast was opened by the performance of Efek Rumah Kaca around 15:55. Following Rocket Rockers from the adjacent stage, Cholil Mahmud and his colleagues successfully captivated the audience with their distinctive vocal style that aimed to penetrate the souls of each spectator through songs like "Desember" and "Cinta Melulu".

In the evening, the BRI Stage was lively with Nidji, followed by Maliq & D'Essentials, and then closed with the performance of The Adams. The lineup of local bands on this stage also received an incredible response from the audience, even though it was held simultaneously with the Supermusic stage and the main stage of Everblast.

4. Loyal Even in the Drizzle

Even when The Adams performed, many spectators remained loyal, standing in front of the stage despite being drenched by the drizzle.

On the Supermusic stage, the performance of Artificial Ambient x J-Rock's brought a more poignant atmosphere to the night while still providing bursts of enthusiasm to the visitors with their variably-genre songs. The stage was closed by the performance of Bondan Prakoso & Fade2Black, which made the audience sway even as the drizzle began to fall.

5. Awaken the Spirit of Nostalgia

The main stage of Everblast at night was filled with the performance of 311, a band from Nebraska, United States. This music group, which has been active since 1988, revived the spirit of nostalgia among the audience with several songs from their glory days in the 1990s such as "Beautiful Disaster" to "Come Original". Not to forget, several new songs were also played by Nick Hexum and the band.

After the performance from the Supermusic stage fillers, the Everblast Stage was once again energized by the next international band. The metalcore band from Florida, US, Sleeping with Sirens, shook the main stage with hit songs released since they formed in 2009. The fast-paced rhythm offered by this band made the atmosphere of the Everblast stage even more vibrant until the end of their performance with the song "If You Can't Hang".

6. The Final Performance

Finally, one of the most anticipated bands, Two Door Cinema Club, closed the series of performances and the entire Everblast Festival 2024 event. This music group from County Down, Northern Ireland performed top songs like "Undercover Martyn" and concluded with their most popular track, "What You Know".

Two Door Cinema Club also left many sweet moments for the visitors of Everblast Festival 2024 who were already drenched in drizzle.
