"Alhamdulillah, the song Bestie Sudahi Patah Hatimu is now viral on TikTok, thank you Yaa Allah. This might be a gift from Allah for us on the occasion of National Music Day, after performing umrah in the holy land of Mecca," said Galyas and Qgun when met with their manager, Bois Famous Maker, at Radio Bola Koaidi, Rawamangun, East Jakarta, recently.

Galyas acknowledged the song's virality as a manifestation of Allah's will. He also expressed gratitude to their followers on TikTok who played a significant role in popularizing the song.

"Maybe it was Qadarullah. This is also not separate from our followers. Thank you to our TikToker friends Galyas-Qgun in Indonesia. Because it turns out that clips of this single have been posted by fans on TikTok from all ages, starting from elementary school kids, middle school, high school, college students, to moms," said Galyas.

Meanwhile, Qgun revealed the latest data regarding the song. The music clip of Bestie Sudahi Patah Hatimu has been used in over 60 thousand TikTok posts and has been viewed 250 thousand times on YouTube. In fact, this song ranks first in the YouTube Music The Shortlist Indonesia playlist.

Bois Famous Maker, the manager of the duo, added that the song's virality happened naturally. This success is also supported by the popularity of Galyas and Qgun on various social media platforms.

For your information, Galyas and Qgun are the first husband and wife duo in Indonesia who consistently create works as songwriters and singers. They have been actively releasing works in the Indonesian music industry for the past four years. This couple also has an official YouTube account with millions of subscribers.

Galyas, whose real name is Gellisa Alya Salsabila, was born in Karawang on December 19, 2001. Meanwhile, Qgun, whose real name is Kiki Gunawan, was born in Karawang on December 2, 1990. Both are known for their productivity in creating music, comedy, and romance content that often draws the attention of netizens.

In addition to the song Bestie Sudahi Patah Hatimu, this couple also released a duet titled Anjing Guguk Kafilah Berlalu in 2024. Their meeting began in December 2019 when Galyas became the model for Qgun's music video, Ketika Cinta Jatuh Cinta.

"We first met while shooting the music video for the song When Love Falls in Love. Galyas became the model for my music video. Because we were shooting all day from dawn to dawn, love began to blossom between us. Believe it or not, I immediately proposed to her at the shooting location at that time," Qgun recounted.

After getting married, this couple became increasingly active in creating content on TikTok and building their image as The Couple TikToker. One of their prank contents titled Prank on the Patience of a Girlfriend in the Car even went viral and was aired on several national TV stations.
