On Sunday (12/7/2020), Weird Genius' official account announced the good news that the song Lathi has reached 100 million online plays. With this achievement, Weird Genius' face appeared on the billboard in Times Square, New York.
"Lathi has reached a total of 100 million online plays! We wanted to perform in New York, but for now, this is enough. Weird Genius in Times Square..." wrote Weird Genius' official account.
This achievement is not the first achieved by Weird Genius with the song Lathi. Previously, Lathi broke the record as the song that occupied the first position on the Spotify Indonesia chart for six consecutive weeks.
Lathi also topped several different music charts at the same time, including Youtube Music, Apple Music, Spotify, Deezer, and Itunes. In addition, Lathi also became the most searched track on the Shazam app.
