The Story Behind Mezzaluna's Single 'Setting Up the Phone Call'

Kapanlagi.com - Mezzaluna proves her consistency as a singer by releasing a new single. Amidst her busy schedule studying in London, England, the daughter of Bimbim Slank released a single titled Setting Up the Phone Call.

It turns out that there are several stories behind the making of the single. The story begins with Mezzaluna who was busy playing blues notations while creating the song.

"I want to share a little story about the song & its cover. When I was making this song, I was really into playing the 12 bar blues chord progression on the guitar, so I really appreciate to those who notice it," wrote Mezzaluna in her post.

Mezzaluna then explained about the single cover photo which was her own creation. The photo of Mezzaluna was taken with a friend while riding a bus in London. Meanwhile, some additional images on the cover were her own doodles.

"For this single cover, it was taken by @abiismail in London, and it was just the two of us on the bus at that time, lucky! The cover was made from my own doodles + 'Mezz is The Best' written by Mao (my youngest sister). Hopefully Mao's writing can reflect me in real life," continued Mezzaluna.

Finally, Mezzaluna expressed her gratitude to several parties who have supported her in the release of the single Setting Up the Phone Call.

"I want to thank @offmute & @sonymusicid who have given me a place to express my creativity freely. You are the best and you have brought me to work harder every day. I hope everyone likes it (her latest single), from us to you, enjoy it," concluded Mezzaluna, in English.
