Tiara Andini's Heartfelt Expression Nominated in 2 Categories at the 2020 AMI Awards

Kapanlagi.com - The beautiful singer Tiara Andini is nominated in the most prestigious music industry event in the country, the Anugerah Musik Indonesia (AMI) Awards 2020. The Indonesian Idol alumna even secured 2 nominations at once, namely for the categories of Best Female Solo Artist and Best Newcomer Artist.

As a newcomer singer, the Indonesian Idol alumna expressed her joy and disbelief for being nominated in the AMI 2020. She recently graduated from Indonesian Idol and continued her career as a solo singer.

"I'm really happy to be nominated. I didn't expect it to happen this quickly, especially since I just came out of this competition (Indonesian Idol) and released my work, which was well received by the Indonesian people. Thank you everyone," said Tiara Andini in a virtual press conference on Wednesday (21/10/2020).

1. Not Targeting Victory

Tiara herself is not really eager to win in those 2 categories. She feels very satisfied just to be nominated, especially in 2 categories at once.

"I never thought about winning. I'm grateful just to be nominated, let alone winning. I still can't even plan what to say in my speech if I win, I'm still confused," she continued.

"Maybe I'll just think positively, pray, and do my best to let my friends know and support me to win in this nomination," she added.

2. Competing with Top Names

In these 2 nominations, Tiara is competing with several top singers in the country. In the Best Female Solo Artist category, Tiara has to compete with Eva Celia, Isyana Saravati, Lyodra, Mawar de Jongh, and Raisa. Meanwhile, in the Best Newcomer Artist category, Tiara has to compete with Chintya Gabriella, Dead Bachelors, Reza Chandika, Rendha Rais, and Ziva Magnolya.

"They're all amazing, there are friends of mine who have been through the same journey in talent search. We're all fighting together, I'm so happy to be nominated alongside them. So let's stay motivated, fans keep supporting their idols," Tiara concluded.
