Widi Mulia's Three Children Release Single 'Piknik', Written Four Years Ago by Widuri

Kapanlagi.com - Three children of the couple Dwi Sasono and Widi Mulia, namely Dru, Widuri, and Den Bagus, released a song titled Piknik. This song was written by Widuri, the second child of Widi and Dwi Sasono. Apparently, the song was written by Widuri four years ago.

"About four years ago, without my mother's knowledge, I tried to make a song to sing while playing the guitar in front of my school friends. The story of the song is about birds that often visit outside my window. That view makes me very happy," said Widuri, as quoted in a press release received by KapanLagi.com®, Monday (26/7).

Shortly after, Widuri asked her mother, Widi Mulia, to listen to the song Piknik. From there, Widi became excited to help make this song more exciting. To make it more exciting, Widuri invited her older brother and younger brother, Dru and Den.

"While listening to this song, we can have fun together as if we were on vacation and going out, even though we are just at home," said Widuri.

To make it sound more harmonious, Widuri, Dru, and Den collaborate with Ava Victoria and Ana Achjuman. A musician who is also a sibling, this family's mainstay.

"We both want to maintain this fun arrangement combo for the Piknik song on piano, acoustic guitar, and the joyful sound of mallet among other instruments," said Ana.

Live drum beats combined with brush add a light jazz nuance to the Piknik song. Ava and Ana also add the melodious sound of an accordion. The combination of all these elements makes the music arrangement of the Piknik song sound even fresher.

The Piknik song is sung by Dru, Widuri, and Den Bagus with the distinctive atmosphere of Indonesian children. Before her children, Widi Mulia herself released a new single titled Penguasa Paling Sederhana (The Simplest Ruler) at the end of last June. The work apparently contains an important message for women.

This song was created from Widi's awareness that women have great power and influence behind their simplicity, and from generation to generation, they are increasingly dominating the world. Despite this fact, it turns out that many women are still unaware or even insecure about what they have.
