Winner of the Sing Cover Competition, Missing Madeline Releases Debut Single

Kapanlagi.com - The band Missing Madeline fulfills the wishes of thousands of fans by releasing their debut single titled Pergilah under the Independent Music label.

Through this song, the Power Pop band consisting of Tereza on bass and vocals, Fazil (guitar/vocals), Wanda (guitar/vocals), and Apit (drums/vocals), wants to prove that their music and concept can be accepted by listeners of all ages, especially for Indonesian music lovers.

"The four of us want to prove to the music community in our country and the world that the Power Pop genre we play is different because each member is a vocalist. We not only present energetic Power Pop music, but also present harmonious vocals in a distorted musical atmosphere, to uplift the spirits of the listeners," explained Wanda.

1. Hoping to be Accepted in Indonesia

Missing Madeline is a band formed in October 2019 in Lhokseumawe, Aceh, with all band members singing.

The name Missing Madeline started to gain recognition after winning a competition called "Sing Cover Competition, Indonesia Pasti Bisa" in July 2020, with the jury consisting of Ari Lasso, Andra Ramadhan, Andre Taulany, and Raffi Ahmad.

"We hope that our work will not only be accepted in Indonesia, but also internationally," said Tereza, who is also a famous YouTuber from Aceh.

2. Not Just a Preambule Single

Meanwhile, Fano, the CEO of Independent Music label, said that hopefully the song 'Pergilah' will not only be just a preambule single from the band Missing Madeline, but also become a hitsmaker in the music industry, and the presence of the Independent Music label will actually accommodate the works of musicians from the region to the national and international stages.
