Kapanlagi.com - Promoter Boart Indonesia, in collaboration with the Jakarta Experience Board, will hold the Mari Kemari Festival at Wilis Stadium, Madiun, on Saturday, December 7, 2024. This festival is organized to bring the unique entertainment of the Capital City to the people of Madiun and its surroundings with the theme #YaKaliGaKemari.
The Mari Kemari Festival stage will be enlivened by performances from Denny Caknan, Wika Salim, Masdddho, Lala Widy, Gofar Hilman x Cupi Cupita, Shinta Arshinta, and Mala Agatha. Each performer will also collaborate in a special way on stage.
This festival not only showcases music from renowned musicians but also features a typical Madiun UMKM bazaar that can be enjoyed while watching the performances.
“We deliberately chose Madiun as the first city for the Mari Kemari Festival, which will later be held in several other cities. We want to help boost regional tourism through music entertainment, as well as invigorate the creative economy that has added value in each region,” said Ni Gusti Nyoman Rini, Owner of Promoter Boart Indonesia.
Several dangdut singers from East Java will also perform to enhance the existence of the koplo dangdut genre in their hometown.
“We carefully curated this line-up because their big names are still missed by fans. We decided to highlight the koplo dangdut genre as the basic concept of the Mari Kemari Festival because we want to help preserve Indonesia's original culture,” said Rangga Gani Satrio, Project Leader of the Mari Kemari Festival.
The noble goal of this festival received positive feedback from the Madiun City Government represented by the Acting Mayor of Madiun, Eddy Supriyanto. He hopes the Mari Kemari Festival can be an alternative entertainment at the end of 2024.
“I always support positive activities, especially those that benefit the people of Madiun City. I hope the event runs smoothly and that security and order are maintained,” explained Eddy Supriyanto during an audience with Boart Indonesia.
