Write a Song for Aminda, Virgoun Says True Love Still Exists

Kapanlagi.com - Beautiful singer Amindana Chinika, or better known as Aminda, has just released a single titled Tiada Cinta Selain Kamu (No Love Besides You). This is Aminda's second single in the Indonesian music industry. Previously, the 19-year-old girl released a single titled Dua Centang Biru (Two Blue Checkmarks) in November 2020.

Tiada Cinta Selain Kamu was written and produced by Virgoun, a renowned songwriter who is also the vocalist of the band Last Child. Aminda is proud to collaborate with Virgoun. Moreover, Aminda herself admires Virgoun's works very much.

"For me, Kak Virgoun is one of the musicians who has a long experience and his works are amazing, both with his band (Last Child) and solo. So, collaborating with Kak Virgoun is a rare opportunity that I won't miss," said Aminda to the reporters on Wednesday (28/7/2021).

What's interesting is that Aminda is the first singer to be produced by Virgoun. She admitted that Virgoun had never wanted to produce other singers before. So, what made Virgoun decide to collaborate with Aminda?

"When she (Aminda) released her debut song with Mas Yovie, I felt that she could be something in our music industry. I was challenged not only to make songs, but also to be her producer," said Virgoun.

So, for me, besides his soft voice, Aminda also has a character that suits the songs. I am someone who really loves storytelling. So the chemistry with my songs will definitely be there," said Virgoun.

For Aminda, the song Lagu Tiada Cinta Selain Kamu (No Love Besides You) written by Virgoun is one of his unique works. Because, this song is not only about love for a lover.

"Lagu Tiada Cinta Selain Kamu is very unique in my eyes, one of the meanings that Virgoun explained earlier. What's unique is that, for me, it can mean more than that, talking about love that is not always about a boyfriend or girlfriend. But it can also be about family, even nature. I hope, I can know the version that the listeners will interpret later," said Aminda.

At the same time, Aminda also released the music video for the song Tiada Cinta Selain Kamu. The music video can already be watched on Aminda's YouTube channel. Two famous artists from the country, Jessica Mila and Bryan Domani, were chosen as the models for the music video.

"Through this song, personally, I want to convey that true love still exists, and it's not just a fairy tale or a cheesy story. I hope this song can become an anthem for those who want to express love but can't do it poetically. Hopefully, Tiada Cinta Selain Kamu will find a place in people's hearts, and Aminda can be more recognized by all Indonesian music lovers," concluded Virgoun.
